My name is Maliha Ayaz. I am a South Asian designer born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I am pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Textile Surface Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, as a Presidential and Social Justice Scholar. I have a strong background in writing and research and have always applied the two to my artistic endeavors. With a deep love for creative expression, I am dedicated to promoting social and environmental justice. Through my work, I strive to amplify diverse voices, fostering a forward-looking future.
